Decisions, decisions....First it's the surgery. Lumpectomy or mastectomy? Each has its own options. Then it's the chemo. Clinical trial or standard treatment? Even radiation comes with a set of choices. And if that's not enough, when the chemo and radiation are over, it's time to think prevention.

The author's MBA helped her successfully transition into the business sector where she established education and communications departments for two large health industry firms.

Later she found Soterion, a healthcare communication consulting firm. Through the years she has led workshops, and presented at various healthcare and education conferences.

She is a five year breast cancer survivor and mentor for women with breast cancer, consults and speaks.
