Compassionate and Practical Ways to Offer Comfort

Three Stages of Recovery

Mastering the trauma involves making her own decisions instead of allowing experience, memories, or other people to make decisions for her.  This is a t;ime of growth, change, and new direction in her life. (II Corinthians 1:3-6)

How can a person tell if she's progressing and moving ahead?  Symptoms become less frequent and the struggle with fear less intense.

A trauma survivor can actually become a wounded healer ande have a greater compassion for others.

Overcoming trauma is a process - a journey.  But we don't travel the journey alone; the Lord is with us.

Listen with your heart, reach out with the hands of Jesus, and pray.
